What is Zero Waste you ask?
It’s simply the conservation of all resources by means of responsible production, consumption, reuse, and recovery of products, packaging, and materials without burning and with no discharges to land, water, or air that threaten the environment or human health.
Basically, zero waste takes aim at a “take, make, and waste” approach to production and consumption, encouraging a more circular approach to the way we use resources - meaning sending no waste to landfill, incinerators, and the ocean.
It’s a natural way to recycle decomposed organic materials. This process of decomposition creates compost, or rich soil. Once-living organisms will decompose into compost.
Composting organic waste at home will return nutrients directly back to the soil to support the “circle of life,” as nature intended.
For our part, we continue to increase our composting efforts by expanding capacity at existing operations and acquiring new facilities.
We all live on this planet together and Bay Disposal wants to make it as healthy as possible. We’d love to show you the difference we’re making and share our ideas with you.
