Foreign Garbage and APHIS Waste Services

Dedicated to achievement and professionalism.

Bay Disposal is committed to helping protect the health and value of American agriculture and natural resources. The Company works closely with the US Department of Agriculture and the US Customs and Border Patrol in providing collection, transportation and disposal services of foreign garbage and APHIS waste.

Any organic waste entering a U.S. port must be disposed of under the regulations governing foreign garbage. Additionally, when imported cargo fails an APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) inspection upon entry to the United States, Bay Disposal has the resources and experience to collect, transport and dispose of that cargo in complete compliance with the regulations in place. Bay’s Medical Waste Division does so quickly and economically.

Occasionally a very small portion of a shipment can cause an entire shipment to be held at the Examiners Warehouse. Failure to act quickly in remedying a Customs and Border Patrol seizure can end up in significant costs. Bay can package, transport and dispose of the affected portions of the load, thereby bring the balance into compliance.

Bay Disposal provides these services, along with other waste management services at any Mid-Atlantic U.S. port from Virginia to all ports north.

Bay Disposal is fully permitted to collect, transport and process Foreign Garbage and APHIS Waste under its compliance agreement with the United States Department of Agriculture, as enforced by the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol
